About Dr. Vivian Huang
Dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care through clear communication and gentle, stress-free visits.
As a Taiwanese Canadian, Dr. Vivian obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia, and is now proudly serving the communities of Tsawwassen and South Surrey. After a decade of practice, she enjoys dentistry as a way to connect with her patients as well as to provide treatment. Dr. Vivian believes in treating patients as a whole, as our mental well-being and physical well-being are all tightly intertwined and related to oral health and our overall well-being.
​Dr. Vivian practices the full scope of general dentistry, including Invisalign treatment, wisdom tooth extractions, and implant surgeries. She offers safe, medication-assisted relaxation (oral sedation) to help ensure comfortable, stress-free appointments, and her little companion Jasper offers snuggles on request as well.

She is an experienced provider of Invisalign® and an active member of many continuing education programs and study clubs. Her dedication to continuous learning allows her to stay informed of the newest developments in dentistry, ensuring that she provides the best care for her patients.
Dr. Vivian has a particular soft spot for children as well as patients who may face barriers to care and need extra support, and she welcomes patients of all ages and backgrounds. She strives to make sure that her patients are seen and heard, and will do everything in her ability to make sure they feel comfortable in her chair.
Dr. Vivian is a clinical instructor at UBC Faculty of Dentistry, where she enjoys teaching and having stimulating conversations with the students. She is also a member of the Canadian Dental Association and British Columbia Dental Association. She sits on the board of the Canadian Chinese Dental Association and is a firm believer in giving back to the community.
Personal Approach
​In her free time, Dr. Vivian enjoys badminton and volleyball and quality time with her dog Jasper. She also loves coffee and good food and is always in search of new restaurants to try!
